CAR/PEDESTRIAN SAFETY FEATURE FAILS

Transcript

The advertising has already shifted into high gear, but new safety features designed to keep cars from hitting *pedestrians, may be creating a highway hazard! A recent study by triple a shows the pedestrian -detection systems in four different car models didn't perform as well as expected. On the models tested, chevy malibu, honda accord, toyota camry and tesla model 3, the pedestrian detection systems were generally ineffective at 30 miles per hour ...And completely ineffective at night! Triple a's warning: while these systems have the potential to save lives, drivers should not rely too much on sensors and Software to prevent accidents. If you are injured in an auto accident on the treasure coast because of a faulty pedestrian detection system, or because of someone else's negligence call Crary Buchanan or log onto crarybuchanan.com.
