Attorneys Rick Crary II and Donna DeMarchi Featured in Luminaries

Aug 05, 2013

Today’s issue of Luminaries will feature two Stuart attorneys from Crary Buchanan – Rick Crary II and Donna DeMarchi – for their involvement in two upcoming charity events. Luminaries is a weekly publication that provides a look into the non-profit and community development scene throughout Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties.

In this week’s issue, Attorney Rich Crary II was photographed with other event organizers as they prepare for the upcoming Charity Sporting Clay Shoot. The event – which is scheduled for September, 7 – will benefit the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of the Florida Foundation. Founded more than 20 years ago, the VNA has provided more than $1 million dollars in medical care and treatment to residents throughout 14 Florida counties, includes Martin County, St. Lucie County, and Okeechobee County.

Funds from the Charity Sporting Clay Shoot will be used to aid the foundation in covering the medical needs of local residents struggling financially, building wheelchair ramps in residential homes, providing equipment to disabled children at Stuart’s Challenger School in Stuart, and supporting the Florence Nightingale Express – a fully staffed mobile medical clinic that offers free services to homeless residents and families in need. Registration for the Clay Shoot will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Quail Creek Plantation in Okeechobee.

In addition to featuring Attorney Rick Crary II, the cover of this week’s Luminaries also features our very own Donna DeMarchi with other event organizers in charge of planning the 9 th Annual Hot Caribbean Night Wine Tasting and Celebrity Cook-Off. The event will be taking place on August 17 th at the Mansion at Tuckahoe at Indian Riverside Park and will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of Martin and Palm Beach Counties. The LLS is an organization that aims to raise community awareness and help cure leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and Hodgkin’s disease. Tickets are available for $40 per person in advance or $50 at the door.

Pick up today’s copy of Luminaries to learn more about the events and how our Stuart attorneys remain committed to giving back to the community that continually places their trust in our firm.
