Attorney Donna DeMarchi Volunteers at Local Library

This past weekend, Attorney Donna DeMarchi – a Stuart personal injury attorney at Crary Buchanan – participated in a volunteer event with the Junior League of Martin County at a local library. The Junior League of Martin County is a nonprofit organization comprised of women who are committed to promoting the benefits of volunteer work, developing the potential of women throughout the region, and improving the local community through advocacy, leadership, and voluntarism. Since becoming a member of the organization in 2004, Attorney DeMarchi has held a number of roles, including Community VP and Finance VP. She currently serves as President of the Junior League of Martin County.

During the event, Attorney DeMarchi and other members of the Junior League visited the Indiantown Library to read books about healthy living for local children. They also provided healthy snacks to young readers. The event was designed to educate young children about the importance of nutrition and healthy habits – points that can have a significant and lasting impact on our communities. In the legal realm, nutrition in schools has long been and continues to be, a heated topic for administrators, school districts, and policymakers throughout the country.
