Attorneys at Crary Buchanan are not only committed to the practice of law in the Florida area, but we are also committed to the community as a whole. We strongly believe that giving back to the community is an essential role that we are each called to participate in, whether it is with our time or our resources, we have been blessed with so much and therefore we want to be able to help others. Recently, Attorney Mike Crary was able to present $100,000 on behalf of the Frances Langford Foundation to the Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) Clinic as a part of their January fundraising event. This decision was made after careful consideration along with Evans Crary, Jr. and Josh Turner, the Co-trustees of the Foundation, in order to present the gift to the VIM and be a “Patriot’s Dream Sponsor” for the 2013 fundraising event. Hosted at the Mariner Sands Country Club, VIM is throwing their annual fundraising event on January 26, 2013. The theme of the event is “America the Beautiful” as they celebrate life and the blessing of living in the country that we call home.
At Crary Buchanan we are proud to share with our readers our involvement in the local “Be a Hero” blood drive hosted by the Van Duzer Foundation in the month of November. This blood drive took place at the Treasure Coast Mall on November 10th as well as November 14th in various locations in St. Lucie County. This year was the fourth annual “Be a Hero” blood drive, and one of our very own attorneys Mike Crary is a frequent donator to this unique cause. Mr. Crary states that he is proud to be connected with the cause along with the Seacoast Bank, as the foundation raises donations and collect life-saving blood for the community.

Female attorneys gathered to present to their community a free screening of a groundbreaking HBO documentary “Hot Coffee” in Treasure Coast, Florida on October 22, 2012. The Martin County Chapter of the Florida Association for Woman Lawyers (FAWL) presented this film in hope of exposing truths about the American civil justice system. FAWL is an association that unifies the woman attorneys of the state to educate and train them further in legal matters. This group also offers a networking to those in the state, and the membership is offered to any individuals who have been accredited by a law school and are in good terms with any state Bar.
