On Monday February 3, federal officials from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announced plans to move forward with requiring automobile manufacturers to equip vehicles with new technology for car-to-car communications. The Junior League of Martin County hosted the 5th Annual Rudolph’s Reindeer Dash 5k this past Saturday, December 7, 2013. The Junior League of Martin County is an organization committed to supporting women and the development of local communities through effective action and volunteer work. Proceeds from the Reindeer Dash 5k will be used to help develop the Junior League’s programs focused on at-risk teens and women and children.
On Wednesday’s monthly luncheon of the Economic Council of Okeechobee, our very own Attorney Jennifer Williamson presented Okeechobee County Administrator Robbie L. Charter with a drawing of the historic Okeechobee Courthouse. The courthouse is featured on the 2013 Crary Buchanan candy jars, an annual holiday tradition that honors historic sites on the Treasure Coast.
Crary Buchanan is pleased to announce that the Jensen Beach Falcons Junior Midget team recently won the Southeast Region Championship, which covers Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. The team is going to the Pop Warner Super Bowl to represent the SE Region. They are playing to become National Champions.
Crary Buchanan’s very own Donna DeMarchi – a Stuart attorney with our firm’s personal injury and wrongful death legal team – is helping organize a fundraiser for Project LIFT. Project LIFT is a local nonprofit that works exclusively with at risk teenage boys – many of whom have been through the juvenile justice system and / or have substance abuse issues. They teach these young men vocational skills and provide counseling in a very positive environment. They are relatively “new” and are already doing amazing things.

This year marks the 19th year for the gala, which throughout the years has raised millions of dollars for critical hospital projects and cutting edge technologies on the Treasure Cost.
Attorneys Donna DeMarchi, Jennifer Williamson, and Linda Weiksnar were invited to be judges for the 6 th Annual Tykes and Teens Festival of Trees. The fundraiser runs from November 20-24 and benefits mental health programs and services for children and teens on the Treasure Coast. Festivities are held at the Court House Cultural Center in Stuart. This year, 43 holiday trees and wreaths designed and donated by local residents, businesses and organizations will be auctioned and raffled off.One hundred percent of proceeds go toward funding patient services.
