Beginning in December 2016, millions more employees will become eligible for overtime pay. As a result, employers need to start preparing for the changes now. On December 1, 2016, significant changes to overtime regulations, known as the Final Rule, will become effective by the Department of Labor’s recent revisions to the Fair Labor Standards Act.
